Claudia came into the studio while I was getting ready for a shoot and volunteered to be my test subject. I had a great time photographing her and getting to know her.
Happy Monday! I wanted to test few lighting styles so I asked my friends at WELD to be my models for the day. We did a quick test shoot using simple lighting. It was a fun morning and the photos turned out to be really awesome! Thank you for volunteering, Tiffany and Lindsey!

The talented Kyle Steed hosted a "National Handwriting Day" celebration at WELD. People were invited to come with pen, pencil, and paper. They took the "best-of-craigslist" and created some pretty amazing art from the outrageous ads. Here are a few photos from the event.
Honestly, I was just having a bad day. We all have one of those day. So instead of being down, I just picked up potted plants and went outside of the studio with a camera in my hand.
I had no plans or ideas. I just looked around, limited myself to a small space.
I ran out ideas in 10 minutes. By this time, I am about to lose my mind. But right then, I saw the wall and thought "how would I photograph a small child?" Then few more ideas came. If you know my style, I have a thing for walls. When I see a wall, I have to photograph it. Like the image below...
I think the pictures turned out nice and clean. So if you are having a bad day, grab your phone or camera and just go outside. Think on something else other than what's on your mind.
